Temporary crowns and bridges made of PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) resin that have a color stability of up to 3 months.

Recommended for patients requiring strong, aesthetic and natural-looking temporary fixed prostheses. Its color stability for up to 3 months gives the clinician enough time to finish the definitive prosthesis without compromising the prepared outer diameter.

Before recommending these prostheses, the following characteristics and contraindications must first be taken into account.

Characteristics:

  • Polymethylmethacrylate resin.
    Metal-free.
  • Highly aesthetic.
  • Occlusal wear similar to natural OD.
  • Exact reproduction of the natural tooth color.
  • Translucent, vivid and natural.
  • Anterior teeth.
  • Posterior teeth.
  • Anterior and posterior bridges of 3 to 14 units.
  • Little occlusal space.

3D printing by stereolithography for diagnostic models, smile design, occupational models, preoperative models, die-cut dice, etc.

For the manufacturing/printing of our 3D models we use SLA (stereolithography) technology and Model V2 resin, together with our design software that works with both STL and PLY files. This combination ensures a precision of 100µ for diagnostic models and 25-50µ for die-cut models. Washing with isopropyl alcohol and post-curing with light at a temperature of 60°C, using high-tech equipment, allows us to obtain very precise and resistant models.

We use SLA (stereolithography) technology and Dental LT Clear V2 resin in conjunction with our design software, which works with both STL and PLY files to manufacture our 3D printed guards. This combination ensures a precision of 100µ and a wear resistance of 52.0µPa. Washing with isopropyl alcohol and post-curing with light at a temperature of 60°C, using high-tech equipment, allows us to obtain very precise, comfortable and resistant splints.

Smile design planning is a key step in the success of cases requiring high aesthetics, as it allows for a clear and precise vision of the final result of a dental prosthesis. Smile design can be done virtually, by processing STL and PLY digital files using CAD/CAM technologies and software.

Nowadays, it is possible to take a digital impression in a comfortable, fluid, precise and very short time, which is a substantial benefit for the patient.

These digital impressions allow us to virtually generate a smile design, obtaining a precise idea for the doctor and the patient about the aesthetic, natural and functional result of the future dental prostheses. From this, it is possible to go from a virtual design to a physical one, requesting the printing of a 3D model from our laboratory.
